A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DURST CONTRACT
INTERIORS, OF STOCKTON, FOR CITYWIDE PURCHASE AND
INSTALLATION OF OFFICE SYSTEMS FURNITURE
WHEREAS, previous Council action has established Haworth Unigroup Furniture
(Haworth) as the City's preferred office furniture manufacturer in order to maintain consistent
office systems furniture designs at City facilities; and
WHEREAS, Durst Contract Interiors is the local Haworth representative and utilizes the
OMNIA U.S. Communities contract; and
WHEREAS, this Professional Services Agreement is intended to facilitate office systems
furniture needs in City facilities over the initial term of three years with the option of extending
for two additional one-year terms. The total not -to -exceed amount is $60,000 if all extensions
are utilized; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends authorizing the City Manager to execute a Professional
Services Agreement with Durst Contract Interiors, of Stockton, for Citywide purchase and
installation of office systems furniture in the amount of $60,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby
authorize the City Manager to execute a Professional Services Agreement with Durst Contract
Interiors, of Stockton, California, for Citywide purchase and installation of office systems
furniture for the term of three years with the option of extending for two additional one-year
terms, in the amount of $60,000 if all extensions are utilized; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, pursuant to Section 6.3q of the City Council Protocol
Manual (adopted 11/6/19, Resolution No. 2019-223), the City Attorney is hereby authorized to
make minor revisions to the above -referenced document(s) that do not alter the compensation
or term, and to make clerical corrections as necessary.
