Re: DONATION FOR FIREFIGHTER MEMORIAL
At the March 4, 2021 meeting, the Lodi Fire Foundation (LFF) discussed donating
a Firefighter Memorial to the City of Lodi Fire Department. The LFF would like to
donate $25,000 for the purchase of a bronze statue and the Arts Commission
approved funding the remainder of the statue in the amount of $15,000.
Furthermore, the Lodi Fire Foundation will donate an additional $5,000 to
purchase the flagpole that will sit behind the statue. The remainder of the project
will be funded through donations from local businesses and community groups.
The Lodi Fire Foundation voted and approved this project and will donate
$30,000 to the purchase of the statue and flagpole and has secured donations to
fund the rest of the project. There will be no cost to the City of Lodi.
