A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH TABLET COMMAND, INC., OF SAN RAFAEL, FOR SHARED MOBILE
INCIDENT COMMAND APPLICATION -BASED SOFTWARE

WHEREAS, the Lodi Fire Department has been using Tablet Command, an application -
based software that provides a shared mobile incident command system since 2015; and
WHEREAS, Tablet Command is currently the only option offered by the Stockton Dispatch
Center; and
WHEREAS, Tablet Command allows the Fire Department to track and assign resources
during an emergency scene, and it also includes a mapping feature for fire hydrants and pre -fire
plans for businesses. Currently, dispatch can provide notes through this application and in the
near future the Fire Department will also be able to utilize it for two-way radio communications
which will allow Fire personnel to stay off of the radio and communicate via iPad for response
status during emergency calls; and
WHEREAS, this contract will not exceed $24,000 over the next three years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby authorize
the City Manager to execute a Professional Services Agreement with Tablet Command, Inc., of
San Rafael, California, for shared mobile incident command application -based software, in an
amount not to exceed $24,000 over the next three years; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, pursuant to Section 6.3q of the City Council Protocol
Manual (Res. No. 2019-223), the City Attorney is hereby authorized to make minor revisions to
the above -referenced document(s) that do not alter the compensation or term, and to make
clerical corrections as necessary.
