A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL OF INTENTION
TO VACATE EXISTING 16.5 -FOOT PUBLIC UTILITY
EASEMENT LOCATED AT 2500, 2505, 2506 MAYFAIR COURT
AND LOT A, GATEWAY NORTH UNIT 1, TRACT 3940
WHEREAS, the proposed easement vacation is requested by Tom Schulz, on behalf of
FCB Homes, owner/developer of the parcels located at 2500, 2505, 2506 Mayfair Court and
Lot A, Gateway North Unit 1, Tract 3940; and
WHEREAS, as part of the public improvements of the Gateway Unit No. 1 project, the
existing overhead utilities were either removed or moved and undergrounded to the public right-
of-way; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends adopting a resolution of intention to vacate the existing
16.5 -foot public utility easement located at 2500, 2505, 2506 Mayfair Court and Lot A, Gateway
North Unit 1, Tract 3940.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby adopt a
resolution of intention to vacate the existing 16.5 -foot public utility easement located at 2500,
2505, 2506 Mayfair Court and Lot A, Gateway North Unit 1, Tract 3940; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, pursuant to Section 6.3q of the City Council Protocol
Manual (Res. No. 2019-223), the City Attorney is hereby authorized to make minor revisions to
the above -referenced document(s) that do not alter the compensation or term, and to make
clerical corrections as necessary.
