Assign and confirm annual appointment of City Council Members on various boards, committees, and commissions. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The attached set sets forth the service of City Council Members on various County and regional boards, committees, and commissions. The list is confirmed annually after the reorganization of the City Council for accuracy. The changes made thus far are summarized below and highlighted on the attached list: • Pursuant to the City Council Protocol Manual Section 4.2b, Mayor Nakanishi is listed as the City's representative on the League of California Cities Central Valley Division Executive Committee • The Delegate for the San Joaquin Partnership is vacant ■ Following past practice, the representatives on the San Joaquin Valley Special City Selection Committee have been updated to reflect the reorganization, Mayor Nakanishi is listed as the Delegate and Mayor Pro Tempore Chandler as the Alternate Staff is requesting that Council determine what additional changes need to be made to the appointments and confirm the appointments following a final reading in to the record by the City Clerk.
