BACKGROUND INFORMATION: There are two vacancies on the Measure L Citizens' Oversight Committee. It is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for these vacancies for a period of 30 days. Government Code Section 54970 et seg. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application. The Committee will meet a minimum of three times per year and consists of five members. To the extent possible, at least two members shall be certified public accountants or equivalent. Terms are for a period of three years. Applications are now being accepted to fill two (2) vacancies on the Measure L Citizens' Oversight Committee. APPLICANTS MUST BE REGISTERED VOTERS WITHIN DISTRICTS 4 OR 5. Applications are available online at www.lodi.gov/184]Boards-Commissions. For more information call 333-6702.
