RECOMMENDED ACTION: Post for vacancies on the Measure L Citizens' Oversight Committee.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: There are two vacancies on the Measure L Citizens' Oversight
Committee. It is recommended that the City Council direct the
City Clerk to post for these vacancies for a period of 30 days.
Government Code Section 54970 et seg. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens
interested in serving to submit an application.

ANNOUNCEMENT
Two (2) Vacancies on the
Measure L Citizens' Oversight Committee
The City of Lodi is currently accepting applications for the
Measure L Citizens' Oversight Committee,
developed to review the annual accountability report and
report its finding to City Council, in relation to revenues
generated through the general retail transaction and use
tax approved by the citizens as Measure L.
The Committee will meet a minimum of three times per
year and consists of five members. To the extent possible,
at least two members shall be certified public accountants
or equivalent. Terms are for a period of three years.
Applications are now being accepted to fill two (2)
vacancies on the Measure L Citizens' Oversight
Committee. APPLICANTS MUST BE REGISTERED
VOTERS WITHIN DISTRICTS 4 OR 5.
Applications are available online at
www.lodi.gov/184]Boards-Commissions. For more
information call 333-6702.
Note: You must be registered to vote in the City of Lodi at
the time of application. If appointed, you will be required to
complete a Statement of Economic Interest. This is a
volunteer, unpaid position.
Filing Deadline: Monday, February 8, 2021.

addition, the Commission advises the Council on fees, any changes to the Lodi Municipal Code that affect park operations, prioritizing
capital expenditures and other matters that affect the public's use and enjoyment of City parks while providing a forum for public
engagement.
