HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - November 17, 2020 SS1/1 LODI CITY COUNCIL SHIRTSLEEVE SESSION CARNEGIE FORUM, 305 WEST PINE STREET TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2020 A.Roll Call by City Clerk An Informal Informational Meeting ("Shirtsleeve" Session) of the Lodi City Council was held Tuesday, November 17, 2020, commencing at 7:02 a.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pursuant to Executive Order N-29-20, all Council Members participated in the meeting via teleconference and the meeting was available for viewing by the public via livestream at https://www.facebook.com/CityofLodi/ and https://zoom.us/s/99156688900? pwd=MThFM09HbXdYQzkxMXpYdzJJb2gzQT09; the opportunity for public comment was available through councilcomments@lodi.gov and https://zoom.us/s/99156688900? pwd=MThFM09HbXdYQzkxMXpYdzJJb2gzQT09. Present: Council Member Chandler, Mayor Pro Tempore Nakanishi, and Mayor Kuehne Absent: Council Member Mounce Also Present: City Manager Schwabauer, City Attorney Magdich, and City Clerk Cusmir B.Topic(s) B-1 Receive Information on Turner Road/State Route 99 Interchange Improvement Project (PW) Public Works Director Charles Swimley and Matt Satow from Drake Haglan and Associates, provided a PowerPoint presentation on State Route 99 / Turner Road Improvements. Specific topics of discussion included background information, proposed project, proposed landscaping and aesthetic elements, alternative monument for center of roundabout; project funding, current project status, and next steps. The City Council directed staff to move forward with the proposed alternative monument, the grape cluster, on a pedestal engraved with "Welcome to Lodi" for the center roundabout, approximately 20 feet in height.
