BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City of Lodi is required to have a labor compliance program approved by the Department of lndustrial Relations in order to authorized a professionar service. d:åi:,1ffi'[fHi#:ixJäi,8låti.,lJtútrÍj;,.?iili]] ,"' labor compliance services for White Slough Water Pollution Control Facility Storage Expansion and Surface, Agricultural, and Groundwater Supply lmprovements Project. The amount of the original agreement was $30,000, for the initial one-year term. On June 6,2019, the City executed Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement, utilizing the optional, one-year extension; however, the need for additionalfunds was not anticipated at that time. Due to various delays resulting from levee breaks and Pacific Gas & Electric scheduling issues, the project schedule has been extended by approximately nine months, requiring additional labor and compliance reporting. Amendment No. 2, if approved, increases the not-to-exceed amount by $10,000 to allow for labor compliance oversight during the final months of the project, any labor compliance assistance needed after project completion, and annual reporting required by Department of lndustrial Relations. The total not-to-exceed amount of the agreement will be $40,000. Staff recommends authorizing City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Agreement with Contractor Compliance and Monitoring, lnc., of San Mateo, for labor compliance services for White Slough Water Pollution Control Facility Storage Expansion and Surface, Agricultural, and Groundwater Supply lmprovements Project, in the amount of $10,000, and appropriating funds in the amount of $10,000.
