HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - August 16, 2000 G-04�yOF� COUNCILCITY OF LODI • • AGENDA TITLE: Post For Vacancies On The Lodi Arts Commission MEETING DATE: August 16, 2000 PREPARED BY: City Clerk RECOMMENDED ACTION: That Council, by motion action, direct the City Clerk to post for the following vacancies on the Lodi Arts Commission. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City Clerk's Office has been notified by the Arts Coordinator that two vacancies have occurred on the Lodi Arts Commission (copy of one letter of resignation attached). Therefore, it is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for the following vacancies: Lodi Arts Commission Tony Segale Term to expire July 1, 2003 Theo Vandenberg Term to expire July 1, 2002 State statute requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application. I sincerely appreciate the Mayor's recommendation and the City Council approval towards my appointment.
