A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CONTRACTOR
COMPLIANCE AND MONITORING, INC., OF SAN MATEO, FOR LABOR
COMPLIANCE SERVICES FOR WHITE SLOUGH WATER POLLUTION
CONTRO_ FACILITY STORAGE EXPANSION AND SURFACE,
AGRICULTURAL, AND GROUNDWATER SUPPLY IMPROVEMENTS
PRO, ECT; AND FURTHER APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the White Slough Water Pollution Control Facility Storage Expansion and
Surface, Agricultural, and Groundwater Supply Improvements Project is partially funded by
Proposition 84 grant funds, requiring a Labor Compliance Program (LCP) approved by the
California Department of I-idustrial Relations (DIR); and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff retained the services of Contractor Compliance and
Monitoring, Inc. (CCMI) to prepare an LCP for the City to submit to DIR; and
WHEREAS, on April 18, 2018, Council authorized a Professional Services Agreement
with CCMI, and on June 6, 2019, the City executed Amendment No. 1 to the Professional
Services Agreement, utilizing the optional one-year extension; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends authorizing the City Manager to execute Amendment
No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with CCMI, of San Mateo, for labor compliance
services for White Sloug-i Water Pollution Control Facility Storage Expansion and Surface,
Agricultural, and Groundwater Supply Improvements Project, in the amount of $10,000; and
WHEREAS, staff also recommends appropriation of funds in the amounts of $10,000,
from the fund balance of Wastewater Capital (53199000.77020) for Fiscal Year 2019/20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby
authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services
Agreement with Contractor Compliance and Monitoring, Inc., of San Mateo, California, for labor
compliance services for White Slough Water Pollution Control Facility Storage Expansion and
Surface, Agricultural, and Groundwater Supply Improvements Project, thereby increasing the
not -to -exceed amount by $10,000, for a total of $40,000 over the term of the agreement; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby authorize an
appropriation for the project, in the amount of $10,000, as set forth above.
