Home My WebLink AboutResolutions - No. 2019-182RESOLUTTON NO. 2019-182 A RESOLUT¡ON OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING AND ADOPTING REVISIONS TO LODI ELECTRIC UTILITY RULES AND REGULATIONS WHEREAS, on March 22, 1989, the City Council approved Resolution No. 89-29 adopting the Lodi Electric Utility (LEU) Rules and Regulations; and WHEREAS, since 1989, a number of revisions have been approved by City Council, the most recent of which was in 2012; and WHEREAS, LEU staff has completed a more comprehensive review of the full suite of LEU Rules and Regulations in response to continuous changes ín the electric industry, including legislative and regulatory requirements, technological advances, and local requirements; and WHEREAS, LEU staff has presented the proposed changes to the City Council at public meetings on November 27,2018, and June 11, 2019; and WHEREAS, the proposed changes are in accordance with LEU's Strategic Plan adopted by the City Council on October 4, 2017, whereby LEU will design, operate, and maintain the distribution system to ensure reliable electric service. NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council hereby authorizes and adopts revisions to the Lodi Electric Utility Rules and Regulations, a summary of which is included as Exhibit A.
