CDBG Purpose
The purpose of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is to revitalize low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, to expand affordable housing and economic opportunities and to improve community facilities and services.
CDBG objectives include:
Assisting low to moderate income residents
Preventing slum and blight
Providing decent housing
Ensuring suitable living environments
Supporting community development activities
Supporting public services
CDBG Consolidated Plan Process
A Consolidated Plan is required by HUD to receive federal
housing and community development funding through the
CDBG program.
The purpose of the Consolidated Plan is to provide:
A five-year planning document for the City of Lodi that builds on
a participatory process while also mapping out priority needs
and goals;
An application for federal funds under HUD’s CDBG formula
grant program; and
A strategy to be followed in carrying out HUD’s programs.

POR EL PRESENTE SE NOTIFICA QUE, una audiencia pública se celebrará el Miércoles 1ro. de Mayo a las 7:00 p.m. o tan pronto

Como beneficiario de fondos de Subvención en Bloque para el Desarrollo Comunitario (CDBG), la Ciudad ha desarrollado un plan
Consolidado quinquenal (de cinco años). El cual detalla las necesidades de prioridad y las metas posteriores que deberán ser
formuladas patala población de bajos ingresos y de necesidades especiales. El Plan de Consolidación qùinqu"nul está diseRado para

El Plan de Consolidación también contiene el Plan de Acción Anual para el año 2019-20, el cual generalmente describe como la
Ciudad deberá utilizar los fondos del programa para aclividades elegibles durante el año fiscal 2019-20. El plan de Acción Anual
puede ser modificado según sea necesario para redistribuir fondos para las actividades del desarrollo comunitario y para las viviendas.
El Deparlamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano de los Estados Unidos (HUD) le proporciona a la Ciudad un subsidio anual para el
Programa de Subvención en Bloque para el Desarrollo Comunitario (CDBG). En el momento de esta publicación, HUD aún nô le ha

nriércoles 1 7 de abril de 2019 par:- analizar y aprobar el bonador del Plan Consolidado y el Plan de Aciión Anual y, el 1 ro. De Mayo
de2019 otra audiencia pública se llevará a cabo para adoptar el Plan Consolidado y el Plan de Acción Anual.
El propósito de la audiencia pública que se efectuaran el 1ro. de Mayo, 201 9 será para proporcionarle a los ciudadanos la opoftunidad
de que den a conocer sus comentados referente a las necesidades comunitarias, metas y u"tividudes posibles que deberán sér
