HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2019-64RESOLUTION NO. 2019-64 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) ANNUAL ACTION PLAN 2018-19 AMENDMENT NO. 2 WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has determined that the City of Lodi, California, is entitled to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) as an entitlement community; and WHEREAS, the 2018-19 Annual Action Plan was adopted by the City Council on May 2, 2018, and approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in August 2018; and WHEREAS, the City has identified the following projects that have an estimated total of $92,860 in CDBG funding available for reallocation: 18.03 Blakely Shade Structure $40,000 17.05 City Hall/ Carnegie Forum $52,860 WHEREAS, staff has identified two existing public improvement projects in which to commit the reallocated funds; and WHEREAS, the City of Lodi has held, with proper notification and at the completion of the mandated public comment period, a public hearing at the City Council meeting of April 17, 2019, to receive comments on the proposed Action Plan Amendment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby approve Amendment No. 2 of the 2018-19 Annual Action Plan to accommodate the aforementioned reallocation to the following projects: Project 18.02 Alley Improvement Project CDBG Estimated Amount $52.860 17.03 Blakely Park Swim Complex Dated: April 17, 2019 $40,000 I hereby certify that Resolution No. 2019-64 was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held April 17, 2019, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS — Johnson, Kuehne, Mounce, Nakanishi, and Mayor Chandler NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS — None ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS — None ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS — None 2019-64 NNIFE .
