A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AWARDING THE
CONTRACT FOR LODI STATION PARKING GARAGE ELEVATOR
STRUCTURAL REPAIR PROJECT TO TPA CONSTRUCTION, INC.,
OF ROCKLIN; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CHANGE ORDERS; AND FURTHER APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of
this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on February 21, 2019, at
11:00 a.m., for Lodi Station Parking Garage Elevator Structural Repair Project, described in the
plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council on January 16, 2019; and
WHEREAS, said bids have been checked and tabulated and a report thereof filed with
the City Manager as follows:

WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council award the contract for Lodi Station
Parking Garage Elevator Structural Repair Project to TPA Construction, Inc., of Rocklin, in the
amount of $69,600; and
WHEREAS, staff also recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to
execute change orders in an amount not to exceed $10,000; and
WHERAS, staff also recommends the City Council appropriate funds in the amount of
$79,600, from the fund balance of Transportation Development Act (60199000.77020) for Fiscal
Year 2018/19.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby award
the contract for Lodi Station Parking Garage Elevator Structural Repair Project to
TPA Construction, Inc., of Rocklin, California, in the amount of $69,600; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby authorize the
City Manager to execute the contract on behalf of the City of Lodi; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby authorize the
City Manager to execute change orders in an amount not to exceed $10,000; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby authorize an
appropriation for the Lodi Station Parking Garage Elevator Structural Repair Project in the
amount of $79,600, as set forth above.
