BACKGROUND INFORMATION: There are expiring terms on the following Boards and Commissions: Lodi Senior Citizens Commission (one term), Recreation Commission (two terms), Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee (one term), and San Joaquin Council of Governments Citizens' Advisory Committee (one term). It is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for these expiring terms for a 30 -day period. Government Code Section 54970 et seq. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application. Meetings: Meets 1st Thursday of each month at 8:00 a.m. Senior Center at Hutchins Street Square Membership: Seven members Recreation Commission Two expiring terms — terms to expire December 31, 2022 (4 -year term) Purpose: To advise City Council regarding parks, recreation, and leisure activities which would interest or impact the community. Meetings: Meets 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Carnegie Forum Membership: Five members Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee (SPARC) One expiring terms — term to expire January 1, 2023 (4 -year term) Purpose. To assist the Planning Commission in reviewing site plans and architectural drawings in order to determine compliance with zoning ordinances and to promote the orderly development of the City. Meetings: Meets 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at 5:15 p.m. Carnegie Forum Membership: Five members San Joaquin Council of Governments Citizens' Advisory Committee One expiring term — term to expire January 1, 2023 (4 -year term) Purpose: To provide community input on project priorities and other matters pertaining to the Measure K program, representing the geographical, social, cultural, and economic mix of the region. Meetings: Meets 3rd Wednesday of each month SJCOG Conference Room, 6 S.
