HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2018-195RESOLUTION NO. 2018-195 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CLAIM FOR THE CITYWIDE BIKE PATH AND PEDESTRIAN SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FUNDED BY MEASURE K BICYCLE, PEDESTRIAN, AND SAFE ROUTE TO SCHOOL NON-COMPETITIVE PROGRAM WHEREAS, San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) administers the Measure K regional sales tax program; and WHEREAS, Measure K provides funding for a variety of road improvement projects, including the Bicycle, Pedestrian and Safe Routes to School Non -Competitive Program; and WHEREAS, the City is planning to use the non-competitive Measure K funds for a Citywide Bike Path and Pedestrian Safety Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, staff recommends authorizing the City Manager to execute the claim for the Citywide Bike Path and Pedestrian Safety Improvement Project funded by Measure K Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Safe Route to School Non -Competitive Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby authorize the City Manager to execute the claim for the Citywide Bike Path and Pedestrian Safety Improvement Project funded by Measure K Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Safe Route to School Non -Competitive Program.
