Thank you very much for completing an application of interest in serving as a member of the Planning
Commission. It is people like you who are willing to donate their time and talent that make Lodi a very special

There were many excellent applications received, making the review and appointment process a difficult one;
however, a choice had to be made. The candidate selected by the Mayor was appointed at the regular City
Council meeting of July 18, 2018.
Applications are retained in our office and considered for vacancies for a period of one year, and I would like to
take this opportunity to inform you that your application has now expired and will be purged from our files. If
you are interested in being considered for future vacancies, you will need to complete a new application form

Thank you for completing an application of interest in serving on the San Joaquin County
Commission on Aging. It is people like you who are willing to donate their time and talent
that make Lodi a very special place.
I sincerely believe those currently serving on a board or commission who are doing a
commendable job should continue to serve in their capacity and remain on a
commission. Consequently, I will be recommending that Council reappoint the long-time
incumbent presently serving on the Commission on Aging.
I would like to personally encourage you to continue to apply to serve on Lodi boards and
commissions. Your application will remain on file for review and consideration of future
vacancies for a period of one year from the date it was received by the City Clerk's
Office.
Your time and interest in serving your community is appreciated.
