RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve specifications and authorize advertisement for bids for
2018-2019 Transit Station Landscape Maintenance.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project provides maintenance to approximately 15,500 square
feet of landscaped area at the Lodi Transit Station and Parking
Structure. The planters at the Arch between the Lodi Transit Station
and the Parking Structure are also included in this contract. See attached Exhibit A for specific locations.
The specifications are on file in the Public Works Department. The planned bid opening date is May
16, 2018. The contract estimate is $18,000. Project award is anticipated on June 6, 2018.
FISCAL IMPACT: Staff anticipates an increase in bid prices associated with wage rate
increases.
FUNDING AVAILABLE: Funding will be identified at project award.
