Re: DONATION FOR BALLISTIC HELMETS IN THE AMOUNT OF $17,172
On February 15, 2018 the Lodi Police Foundation Board discussed the purchase of new ballistic
helmets for the Lodi Police Department. It is understood that the officer's current issued helmets are
previously owned and over 20 -years old. The board realized that it is an undeniable need to update
the department's equipment for officer safety.
The board approved donating the entire amount of $17,172 to cover the cost of 50 new helmets for all
sworn staff of the department. Check number 2129 in the amount of $17,172 was issued to the
departmen e : + uary 17, 2018.
