Have a conversation with your legislator about the 2017
Session
Include their voting record on local control and economic
development
If your legislator has a good record on local control, thank
them. They deserve it.
If their record is weak, ask them why
Often try to find ways of helping while avoiding bucking
leadership or a powerful bill sponsor
For elected city officials that provide legislative
endorsements consider whether or not the legislator
merits your support.
