HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - March 1, 2000 E-05CITY OF LODI COUNCIL COMMUNICATION AGENDA TITLE: Accept Improvements Under Contract for Lane Line Painting, Various City Streets, 1999 MEETING DATE: March 1, 2000 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the Lane Line Painting, Various City Streets, 1999 contract, and direct the City Engineer to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project was awarded to Moreno Striping Service, of Goshen, on October 6, 1999, in the amount of $23,682.24. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was February 7, 2000. The final contract price was $24,256.45. The difference between the original contract price and the final contract price resulted from a miscalculation of the original linear footage to be painted.
