Bio for City Council
February Teen of the Month
Melissa Altnow is a student at St. Mary's High School. Melissa has taken a
remarkable stand and has completely followed through with not dating boys, as she
believes dating is for courtship only. She is a strong individual, personable, integral
and a fine example of an excellent leader. Melissa has organized a total campus
outreach event at her school, has lead accountability groups faithfully for two years,
maintains academic excellence, has the respect of her peers, and has "kissed dating
goodbye" to work on more "important" things.
February Honorary Teen of the Month
Kevin Sakai is a student at Lodi High school. Kevin volunteers to help with our
Junior High students every Tuesday night. He helps run games and serves as a role
model. He also coaches a community basketball team for parks and recreation.
