BACKGROUND INFORMATION: There is one expiring term and, due to a recent resignation, one vacancy on the Lodi Improvement Committee, as well as a recent resignation from the Recreation Commission. It is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post the openings on the Lodi Improvement Committee and Recreation Commission for 30 days. Government Code Section 54970 et seq. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application.
