BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Three terms are expiring on the Lodi Improvement Committee. Government Code Section 54970 et seg. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application. The LIC meets at 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine Street, and consists of 5 members, each serving 3 -year terms. Applications are now being accepted to fill three (3) expiring terms, terms to expire March 1, 2018 (3 -year term). Applications may be obtained from the City Clerk's office at 221 West Pine Street, 2"d floor. For more information, call 333-6702 or access the City's Web site at www.lodi.gov. Appointments to the committee will be made by the Mayor with Council approval. Note: You must be registered to vote in San Joaquin County at the time of application. If appointed, you will be required to complete a Statement of Economic Interest. This is a volunteer, unpaid position.
