RECOMMENDED ACTION Report of sale of surplus equipment
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Public Works Fleet Services Division oversees the removal of
vehicles and equipment from the City's fleet, provides quarterly
reporting of surplus vehicles/equipment sales to the City Council, and
coordinates the disposal process and papenruork once the City Manager and the Deputy City Manager
authorize the dispositions.
During the second calendar quarter of 2014, the City sold the following surplus vehicles/equipment to the
City of Marysville. The City received the following amount from the sale:

Revenues received from the sale of vehicles are credited to the General Fund Equipment Replacement
or the appropriate Enterprise Capital fund, according to the previous assignment of the vehicle sold.
FISGAL IMPACT Revenues received from the sale of vehicle are credited as follows and are
used to help fund the replacement of these vehicles.
General Fund Equipment Replacement (1201): $3,500
