AGENDA TITLE: Approve Final Map and Improvement Agreement for Lodi West, Unit No. 8,
Tract No. 2929
MEETING DATE: October 6, 1999

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the final map for Lodi West, Unit No. 8,
Tract No. 2929, and direct the City Manager and City Clerk to execute the
Improvement Agreement and map on behalf of the City.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The subdivision is located north of the WID Canal, west of
Lower Sacramento Road and south of the existing Lodi West,
Unit No. 3 and Unit No. 4 developments, as shown on Exhibit A.
The development consists of 48 single-family residential lots.
The developer of the subdivision, Robert Batch, has furnished the City with the improvement plans,
necessary agreements, guarantees, insurance certificates, and fees for the proposed subdivision. In
accordance with the payoff agreement approved by Council in December 1997 for the purchase of
E -Basin, Development Impact Fees for storm drainage for the remaining undeveloped portions of the
Lodi West development, including this project, are considered prepaid. Credit for the fees is to be
applied at the time of map filing.
In conformance with LMC §16.40, Reimbursements for Construction, the developer is eligible for
reimbursement for oversize water main improvements in Paradise Drive. The developer will receive
credit against fees for these improvements.
FUNDING: IMF Water Facilities: $6,842.00
Funds for storm drainage fee credits were appropriated with the E -Basin agreement payoff.
