Church Street and Sacramento Street

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council adopt the attached resolution amending Section 4
of the Traffic Resolution 97-148 by approving angle parking on
Walnut Street, between Church and Sacramento streets (Exhibit A).
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: With the construction of the Multimodal Station, the bus transit center
on the north side of Walnut Street, east of School Street, will be
relocated to the Station. Once the bus stop is removed, staff
recommends installing angle parking in this area as well as on the
south side of Walnut Street west of School Street. It is anticipated the Multimodal Station will open in
November.
An additional twenty-one (21) parking spaces will be provided with these modifications.
FUNDING: Funding for striping modifications on Walnut Street from the Street Maintenance Account
at an approximate cost of $1,500.

A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING ANGLE PARKING ON WALNUT STREET,
BETWEEN CHURCH STREET AND SACRAMENTO
STREET, AND THEREBY AMENDING TRAFFIC
RESOLUTION NO. 97-148
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby approve
Angle parking on Walnut Street, between Church Street and Sacramento Street, as
shown on Exhibit A attached and made a part of this resolution; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Lodi Traffic Resolution No. 97-148,
Section 4 "Angle Parking Areas" is hereby amended by allowing angle parking on Walnut
Street, between Church Street and Sacramento Street, as shown on Exhibit A.
