1928, both inclusive.
TMatee Keeney mored., seconded by Trustee Unntoomery, the
adeption of the foregoing resolution as read, which motion was
passed by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustaes Keeney, Montgomery, Crose and Hale.
Nees: None.
Absent: Trustee Black.
Purauant to call of October 24th for bids for furnishing a
light auto truck for the City proposals were received from the fol-
1^wing;
A. B. Hoag, Ford 1 -ton, with Henny open flare board body
No. 405, #820. Sarre with canopy top and cab, $580.
J. H. Davies, Via 7j --ten capacity chassis only $890. same
with Model F open express body, $975•
Cass Webb, used 1 -ton Moreland truck, with express body
and cab, 6850.
After due consideration of the above proposals the fallow -
in® reselutian was Introduced:
WIMLEAS, the bid of A. B. Hoar for a Ford 1 -ton truck with
Henney open flare board body, *To. 405, at $820.00 is considered the
lowest and =ost satisfactory bid; it is therefore
RESOLVED, that the above mentioned bid be, and the same is
hereby, accepted, and tre City Cleric is authorized tri draw a warrant
on the general fund in the sum of $820.00, in favor of A. B. Hoag,
in payment therefor upon delivery of said truck to the City of Lodi.
Upon motion of Truatpe Grose, seconded by Trustee Montgomery,
the foregoing resolution was adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Crose, Montgomery, Keeney and Hale..
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustee Black.
In the matter of the opening of Lancaster Court to North
Church Street the following resolution was introduced by Trustee

RESOLUTION.
WEEREAS, W. P. LANCASTER and EMILY C. LANCASTER, his wife,
have offered to coirrey to the City of Ladi, a certain strip of land
In the City of Lodi, (her?inafter described), which is necessary for
the extension of Lancaster Court easterly,-- said land being: -
All that certain piece or strip of land, situate, lying
and beirZ in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of Cal-
1'ornia, a7d particularly described as follows:-
COMencing at a point on the tVast line of North Church
street !S0 feat north of the intersection of said west line with the
North line of 'First street and running thence in a westerly direc-
tion ani parallel with the North line of said Firat street 202.5
ftlet to the south-east corner of -Lanc aster Court; thence In a Nor-
therly directlan and parallel with the w'pst line of North Church
