Said bonds so to be delivered consist of twenty (20) bonds of the denomination of Five Hundred (500) Dollara each, and ten (10) bonds cf the denomination of One Rkzndr-!3 and Ninety -Tao one -hundredths (139.92) Dollars each, and are of the character known as serials. Two bends of t?:e par value of Fiva :.kindred (500) Dollars each, and one (1) band of the par value or one Hundred Thirty -Nine and NinP ty-Two one -hundredths (139.92) Dollars are payable annually from Slily 2r_d, 1919, to .;'uly 2nd, 1928, both inclusive. Trustee Keeney neves., seconded by Trustee biontoomer.v, the adeption Cf the foregoing resolution as read, which motion was passed by the following vote: Ayes: TruatAP.B Keeney, Montgomery, Crose and :sale. Noes: None. Absent; Trustee Black. Purauant to call of October 24th for bids fer furrishirg a light auto truck for the City proposals were received from the fol - A. B. Hoag, Ford 1 -tan, with Henny open flare board body No. 405, t-820. Sarre with canopy top and cab, $830. J. H. Davies, Viff -i-ten capacity chassis only $890. same with Model F open express body, $975. Cass Webb, used 1 -ton Moreland truck, with express b®dy and cab, 0,850. After due consideration of the above proposals the follew- in- reselutlen was introduced: WTW-rAS, the bid of A. B. Hoag for a Ford 1 -ton truck with Henney open flare beard body, No. 405, at $820.00 is considered the lowest and most satisfactory bid; it is therefore RESOLVED, that the above mentioned bid bP, and the same is hereby, accepted, and the City Clerk is authorized to draw a warrant on the general fund in the sum of 4820.00, in favor of A. B. Hoag, In pal" -'int therefor upon delivery of said truck to the City of Lodi. upon notion of Trustee Crose, seconded by Trustee. Montgomery, the foregoirg resolution was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees Cr©se, Montgomery, Keeney and Hale.. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee Blac t. In the matter of the opening of Lancaster Court to North Church Street the folloviing resolution was introduced by Trustee KPerey: RESOLUTION. WHEREAS, W. P. LANCASTER and EMILY C. LANCASTER, his wife, have offered to coirrey to the City of Lodi, a certain strip of land In to City of Lodi, (hsreinafter described), which is r_ecpsaary for the extension of Lancaster Court -?a3terly,- said lazed being: - All that certain piece or strip of land, situate, lying and being in tile City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, S -tate of Cal- ifornia, and particularly described as follows: - Commencing at a point on the *fest line of North Chlarch street 130 feet north of the intersection of said west line with the North line of First street and running thence in a wpster?;l direc- tion and parallel with the North line of said First street 202.5 feet to the south-east corner of Lancaster Court; thence In a Nor- therly 11r?ctien and parallel with the West line of North Church street 140 f -?et to the Northeast carrier of Lancaster Court; thence In an easterly direction and parallel with the North line of First street 202.5 feet to a point on the west lire of North Church street: thence in a southerly direction and along the west line of North Church street 40 feet to the pcint of beginning. AND WR-PREAS, it is for the best interest of the said City of Lodi, that said lard by purchased from said parties for the pur- pose of opering said street;
