The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City
of Lodi was called to order by the President at 8 o'clock P.M.
Trustees Hickok, h'ettler, Spooner and Shattuck present; Trustee
Hale absent.
the minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of September
25th, September 26th, the regular meetirg of October 2d, the ad-
journed regular meeting of October 9th, the regular rwetig of Oct-
ober 16th, the special meeting of October 23d, and the adjourned
regular meeting of October 30th all in the year 1922, were read and
approved without correction.
Mr. 27aser of the Lodi Lumber Corpany, submitted a proposi-
tion to re -roof the bath -house with "Carey" 4 in 1 slab shingles
at X9.25 per square. This cost being in the neighborhood of the
cost of a wood shingle roof; no action was taken.
A corm-munication from the State Railroad Commission in re-
gard to violations of Chapter 499 as amended by Chapter 600 of the
Statutes of 1915, was read,ard it appearing that the City Superin-
tendent had the matter well in hand, the communication was ordered
filed.
The Secretary of the Lodi Lion's Club transmitted a resolu-
tion of the Civic Committee of that organization in regard to in-
terruptions to electric service and alleged obsolete equipment. It
appearing, that the committee was laboring under misapprehension as
to the causes of current interruption and the efforts of the Board
to remedy the same, the Clerk was instructed to write the Club and
invite them, as well as other interested bodies, to meet with the
City Council on any convenient date for mutual discussion of these
z^tters.
Reports from the City Marshal and Plumbing Inspector were
read and ordered filed.
It appearing from advice of the City Attorney that Resolu-
tion No. 334 of the Board, passed and adopted October 16,1922, was
not specific in describing the nature of the improvement therein
ound necessary, said Resolution No. 334 was rescinded by the pass-
age of Resolution No. 350 entitled, "A Resolution Rescinding Resolu-
