This ret-,ular meeting of the Board of.Trustees of the City
of Lodi was called to order at 8.05 o'clock P.N. on the date
first above written, Trustees Hale, Roach Veihe and Spooner
present, Trustee Shattuck absent on account of illness.
The minutes of the previous regular meeting held October
4th. , 1926 were read, aocroved as read and so endorsed by the
President.
In the matter of the a
U pplication of Angelo Costa for exten-
sion Of serer lines to his progert� on Jest Lockeford Street, on
motion of Trustee Jeihe seconded y Trustee Roach, the Super-
intendent of Public Utiiities was directed to lay sewer mains
to connect up this property along the route designated by him
to the Board'as the most feasible route.
In the matter of the improvement of portions of Main St-
reet, Lockeford Street, Stockton Street and lashington Street as
undertaken pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 70: it being
the date set by notices posted and published for hearing of
protests against the issuance of bonds to represent un,,& -id
assessments and the Clerk reportinno protests filed ,the
issuance of bonds .,ias a,)oro, he passage of '.Resolution
No. 70-H "An Order Providing for'the
Issuance of Street Improve-
ment Bonds, Prescribing the Denomination of Such Bonds and of the
Interest Coupons Attached Thereto" by the following vote: -
AYES: Trustees ::ale,-7eihe, Roach and Spooner.
NOES: Trustees: 'None. ABSENT: Trustee, Shattuck.
Proceedings- in the matter of the Improvement of Pine Street
as heretofore undertaken under Resolution of Intention No. 71
having reached a similar stage to those on Lockeford Street. ihe
Board authorized the issuance of bonds, there beino protests,
by the passage of Resolution No. 71-H of the samertenor as the
previous resolution but a.plying to Pine Street, by the following
vote: -
AYES: Trustees Roach' "Weihe Hale and Spooner.
NOES: Trustees: None, AB3PEtNT: Trustee Shattuck.
Cn motion of Trustee Jeihe, seconded by Trustee Roach,
the City Engineer was directed to definitely establish the ex-
terior lines of the road -way leadirto the City's dumping
grounds on the Mokelumne River and t he Street Superintendent was
authorized to notify abutting owners that, unless they desisted
from encroaching on this road -way, the City would proceed to
fence the same.
Fourteen building permits aGgregating in value $7,250.00
were granted.
Bills in the amount of $2 905.97 as a),oroved by a majority
ofthe finance owriittee sere allowed and ordered paid on motion
of Trustee Hale, seconded by Trustee Roach.
At the sscondeestion of the President and on motion of Trustee

Roach, seconded l y Trustee 7eihe, the Superintendent of Streets
was directed to arrale a plan and district the City so as to
provide a rec-,ular col ection of leaves falling from trees plant -
6d on the ?arking spaces adjacent to the side.ialks and als6 to
publish notices o€ the days of collection.
On motion of Trustee Hale the Board adjourned until she
day and hour of their next reEuiar meeting.
