Yonday, October 9, 1922,
Pursuant to adjournment from the regular session of Oct-
ober 2d, the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi met at 8 o'clock
P.M. on the date above written. All members were present.
L. 0, F+isler submitted a proposition for a complete audit
of the City's accounts for the sum of $960.00, leo action taken.
Mr. C. C. Woodworth addressed the Board in regard to the
proper steps to be taken to organize a County Board of Health and
at his suggestion, Trustee Hale introduced Resolution No. 327,
memorializing the Board of Supervisors of San Joaquin County to
form such a body. This resolution was thereupon unanimously adopt-
er on roll call.
Plans for the +alnut Avenue sewer line prepared by City
Engineer Barzellotti were presented and the same were thereupon
adopted by the passage of 3esolution No. 328 by the following vote:
AYES: ?Bale, Spooner, settler, Hickok, Shattuck
NOES: None ABSENT: None.
On motion of Trustee Hickok, the Clerk was directed to ad-
vertise for proposals for constructing the sewers shown on the plan
above mentioned.
Supt. Henning presented the necessity of draining the alley
intersection in Block 16 and on motion of Trustee Spooner he was
directed to proceed with the installation of a drainage line to
connect with the Oak Street story drain.
The committee appointed September 25th to obtain a proposi-
tion from 0. J. Hemphill in regard to the widening of Lockeford
Street, having reached an agreement with sr. Hemphill, the Board ;~
authorized the execution of the same by the unanimous passage (on
roll call) of Resolution No. 329.
City Treasurer W. H. Lorenz ::as authorized to expend not to
exceed .1)200.00 for additional help in collecting taxes on motion
of *Trustee Hale, seconded by Trustee Spooner.
