HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 09-20-1926249 Citi Hall, City of Lodi Y cnaay,September 20-1926 T'.is regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi,. having been preceed.ed by a meeting as committee of the whole with representatives of Lodi Canrinp Company in the matter of certain charges made this Company for use of the. City's sewerage disposal plant, was not called to order until 8.55 P.M. on the above written date; Trustees Hale, Poach, Shattuck, Weihe and Spooner present, none absent. The minutes of the regular meeting of September 7th., 1926 were read and approved without correction. Fire Chief E.H.Stark brought the unlighted condition of Maple Square to the attention of the Board; the matter was referred to Superintendent of Public Utilities, J.A.Henning. A. resolution adopted at the convention of the League of California Municipalities at Yosemite in regard to opposing prouosed AMenchent No. 4 to the State Constitution was order- ed tabled. In the matter of the purchase of Block 7 of LaRrer..ce Homestead Addition: it ap earir on revort of the Clerk that the assessments to be pain by the City -for the improvement of Lockeford Street were now due and he also certif ing that Mr. Lawrence had raid in cash for the Stockton Stree, frontages of Assessment`s Nos,ll and 30, the President and Clerk were authorized to Make full Da.yments of the amounts due upon " delivery of a proper dee8 in accordance with the contract with MIr Lawrence by the passage of Resolution No. 504 by the following vote: - AYES: Trustees, Hale, Weihe, Roach, Shattuck and Sbooner. DICES: Trustees None. ABSENT: Trustees Mone. Superintendent J.A.Henning submitted orally, the appl- ication of Southern Pacific Company for Rater service to re- ?lace e - place that now received from Union Ice Company. Or. motion of Trustee Weihe, seconded by Trustee Roach, the application was allowed, the Company to be rated on the demand charge for a two inch meter with the regular gallonage charge; Company to install all pines, meters and connections. Fourteen building permits aggregating $22,125.00 were allowed. Bills in the amount of $3,154.95 were allowed as audit- ed on the motion of Trustee Hale, seconded by Trustee Weihe. On mot -on of Trustee Weihe, the Board adjourned until the date of their next regular meeting, October 4th.,1926.
