the adjourned regular meetin.- of the Board of Trustees of
the City of Lodi was called to order at 8:13 P.I., I.W.Shattuck
presiding. .11 members present.
-Che Board proceeded to the consideration of the tax rate
for the fiscal year beginning July 1,1923.
After considering the amounts that would be raised on the
assessed valuation of properties shown on the assessment roll and
the amounts required for bond rede=-,tion and interest, the rate was
fixed as follovis: For general fund 859 on eafh X100.00 of assessed
valuation; for library 15¢ a:nd for Bond Redemption and Interest 50�,
the same being embodied in ordinance No. 136 then introduced aryl
passed by the following vote:
ES: Hickok, Mettler, Hale, Spooner & Shattuck
1"OES: None ABSENT: None
,;'he T. & D.Jr. Theatre Companywas granted permission to re-
model the premises on Elm Street now occupied by t:. Zelver as a
store,irto a theatre providing the completed stork complied with the
State law.
Diagrams delineating assessments on Oak and Locust Streets
were approved and adopted as follows:
Oak Street,Resolution No. 319
Locust St., Resolution *.o. 320.
AYES: Trustees Hale, Hickok, settler, Spooner & Shattuck
NOES: None ABSENT: None
7�e.solution No. 321 authorizing Street Superintendent Christ-
ensen to contract with J. A. Nicholson for making street assessments
was passed by the following vote:
AYLPS: Hale, Hickok, Llettler, Spooner, Shattuck
NQES: None ABSE NT : None
No further business appearing, the Board adjourned to the
date of the next regular meeting.

P.Y. on the date above written, Pres. J. "i. Shattuck presiding. All
members were present.
In the absence of the Clerk, Trustee Spooner was chosen

concerning water and sewage service for his home now being erected
on ;est Pine Street. Service guaranteed and referred to Henn:ng
for action.
