It arpearing that ar error had been made in the printing of Res-
clution of Intention ITo.37 and in the notices rested in accordance
with the same, Trustee Rich introduced Resolution No. 172., rescind-
ing Resolution of Intention 110.37 and the sane was adopted by the fol-
loi,'ing vote:
Ayes, Trustees, Rich, Hickok, Crose ar_f Iontgomery.

Resolution of Intention No. 39 relating to the improvement of
Oak Street and taring the place of rescinded Resolution of Intention
I1o.37 'eras then introduced and passed by the follcwing vote: -

In the matter of the abandonment of a certain alley in the Brier,
&
Keeney Addition, prayed for by Jacob Gatzertf"I�he board proceeded
with the abandonment proceedings by the passage of Resolution No.
173 , declaring it the intention of the board to abandon the alley
particurlarly described therein and directing the Superintendent of
Streets to post the proper and legal notices therefore, by the fol-
1owing vote: -
Ayes, Trustees, Crose Rich, Hickok and Lontgomery.
Iyoes, Trustees, alone Absent, Trustee, Hale.
The board was notified by the Superintendent of Streets and the
City Engineer that certain platforms erected by the•Anderson Fruit
Company at their shed on the corner of 1.ain and k.alnut Streets,
encroached upon the sidearalk s,ace. These platforms being wooden
structures, easily rerove& and not cumbering any space that ,Mould
be used for side walks crere allor:ed to remain at the pleasure of the
board.

Eight building permits for buildings at an estimated cost of
;21,950 were granted.
In the matter of the permissions and restrictions asked by Lrs.
Thirza I,.Cole: the board authorized the Su-oerintendent of Streets
to purchase and erect two signs, one on the corner of Locust and
School Streets, the other at the corner of Lockeford and School
bearing the legend "Hospital, Quiet Zone" or wards of similar import.
1.:rs Cole to be informed by the City Clerk that she might erect and
.maintain at her own expense a sim or signs setting apart a reason-
able space at the curb opposite the main door of the hospital as

Through Superintendent Henning, Theodore Davis applied for ex-
tension of crater service to his premises on Daisy revenue and the same
pas. allowed and the Superintendent directed to make co_'—rection.
