Pursuant to adjournment of July lst the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi covnened at 8 o'clock p.m. There were present Trustees Black, Hale, Keeney, Montgomery and Crose. Minutes of the meeting of July 1st were read and approved. Stella N. Fowler filed the following acceptance of Ordinance Number 99. To the Honorable, the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of Califorr_ia. Gentlemen: The undersigned, Stella N. Fowler, does hereby ac- cept Ordinance No. 99 (which ras finally passed by your Honorable Body on the 17th day of June, 1915, and approved by C. A. Black, President of your Honorable Body, and as the Executive of the City of Lodi, on s said. 17th day of,June, 1915), in accordance with the provisions thereof. Dated: Lodi, Califcrr_la, the 5th day of July, 1918. STELLA N. FOWLER. RESOLUTION. Upon motion of Trustee L'ontgomery, seconded by Trustee Crose, the following resolution was regularly adopted, towit: RESOLV'E'D, TEAT wFXREAS , heretofore, and on the 17th day of June, 1918, Ordinance No. 99 was finally passed and approved by this, the Board o.f Trustees of the City of Lodi, and` by C. A. Black, President of said Board of Trustees, and as the Executive of the said City of Lodi; and �'r REAS, Stella N. Fowler has filed her written acceptance of the aforesaid C,rdinance in accordance with the provisions thereof with this, the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi; NOW, T -HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That it be, and hereby is,found as a Pact, and established of record, that the written acceptance of said Ordinance by the said Stella N. Fowler has been made and had within due tire, and the same is hereby established of record. August A. Boether rras granted permission to build a barn at 209 South Rose street. y. D. Swim, W. H. Williams advo- cated securing a branch of the womans Lard Army of America for Lodi dur- I g the fruit season and asked the Board to donate the use of a part of the City Paris for a location. TrusteeMontgomery moved, seconded by Trustee Crose, that it is the cense of this Board that the use of such part of the City Park as is available be donated to the committee desiring to locate a branch of the woma.ns Land Arnty in the City of Lodi during the present fruit season. The motion was adpted unanimously. Trustee Keeney moved, seconded by Trustee =,tgonery, that a resolution be drawn and presented at the next meeting of the Board set- ting forth the reasons for granting use of the City Pari: for the womans Land Army and stating specifically what part of the nDrth one-half of the pa.rR is to be given over to the use of the above named organiza- tion.
