The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in regular session, President
Lawrence presiding and Trustees Hale and Blodgett being present. Absent: Rich and
Villinger.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Mr. J. Harry Lillie, Local Manager of the Pacific Tel & Tel. Co. was present.
A petition asking for a fireplug at the corner of Main and Oak Streets was read, and
referred to the Committee on Fire Plugs, consisting of Villinger, Hale and Blodgett.
The following resolution was then read, and on motions regularly made, seconded and
carried, then same was adopted by the votes of Blodgett, Hale, and Lawrence.
Resolved, that W. H. Lorenz, the City Treasurer of the City of Lodi, is hereby designated
and authorized to make demand for, to receive and receipt for all moneys determined
found and declared to be due the said City of Lodi by a resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of the County of San Joaquin adopted April 20, 1907, under and by virtue of
Section 2656 of the Political Code.
Done in regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi this 17th day of June
1907.

Mr. W. D.Stutevant appeared before the Board and asked permission to carry a stock of
fire works.
On motion regularly made, seconded and carried Mr. W. D. Stutevant was granted a
permit to carry on hand for sale a stock of fire works of not to exceed 200 lb. Said permit
to run for 20 days from the 18th day of June 1907.
No further business coming before the board, the Board then on motion regularly made,
seconded, and carried, adjourned to reconvene on Monday, June 24, 1907,
