Strt' Suaerintendent's notice of the passage of this resol-
ution shall be published, there beinngg no daily newspaper and
no semi -meekly newsoazer and no vreekly newspaper published
or printed in said City, and it is hereby ordered'that said
superintendents notice be published in the newspaper so
designated, three times a v7eek for at least four successive
weeks, a.d said Street Superintendent shall post said notice
as required by lay.

At the order of the ?resident, gone dissenting, the
Superintendent of ?ublic Utilities was instructed to install
an extension telephone gong in the park at Sacramento and
Lodi Avent}es to be an extension of the present telephone bell
in Fire -House No. 2,
On application of the Fire Chief, he yeas allowed to
purchase 2 five gallon grater e-r`Luin6uishers.
Cn motion of Trustee w'ettler seconded by Trustee
Shattuck, the City-_arshalras granted leave of absence with
pay on account of animal leave, for 15 days.
On notion of Tristea 'r-ettler, bills in the amount of
$2,930.91 as audited, were allowed and ordered paid.
