HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 05-26-1924aMinutes 71 City Hall, City of Lodi Yonday, Lay 26 - 1924 Pursuant to adjournment taken from tine adjourned regular meet- ing of Yay 21, 1924, the Board of Trustees - of the City of Lodi met in adjourned regular session at 8 o'clock on the date and at the place first above written, Trustees Hale, Ilettler, Roach, Shattuck and Spooner present, the latter presiding. Minutes of the regular meeting of flay 19th and the adjourned meeting of Pay 21st were read, approved as read and so end- orsed by the Presid,ent, Fred Spieker -man appeared before the Board and explained the merits of a concrete building block proposed to be furnished by his firm for the new fire house in 'Llaple Square. At the order of the President, none dissenting, Architect J, F. 71atson eras directed to prepare the final plans and complete specifications for the new fire house, Co=unications A letter from the 7isler Audit Bureau desiring, a consultation with their L:r Lontgomery in re;;ard to book-keeping methods -,-;as ordered filed without action. An application from G.A.Saanguinet-ti for the position of fire truck driver vias ordered filed until needed. v "rnotion of Trustee Shattuck, seconded by Trustee Roach, the me Superintendent of :Public Utilities was instructed to const- _PGN ruct the nater line petitioned for by residents on S. Garfield Street. The execution of a lease for the rental of the northerly two J acres, more or less of the City Sevier Farm to G.B.Vallerga was authorized by the passage of a resolution directing the President to make the same by t -he following vote: AYEES: Trustees, Shattuck-, :.settler, Roach,.Hale, Spooner, IIC33: Trustees, ?done. ABSENT: Tr-.;ztees, None. On motion of Trustee Hale. the Board adjourned. Attest.
