City Hall, Lodi,- Cal., May 26, 1919.
Pursuant to adjournemert of :day 19th the Board of Trustees
of the City of Lodi convened at 8 o'clock p.m., there being present
Trustees Black, Hale, Cross, Montgomery and Morehead.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Building permits were granted as follows:
Mrs. George Courtright, private garage at 118 E.Walrut St.
Mrs. George Courtright, porch at ll8 B. Walnut St.
T. H. Watson, private garage at cor Walnut and S.Mtehins St.
Charlotte Scott, dwelling, lot 21, block 16, -Barnhart Tract.
In the matter of the improvement of North Sacramento street
the following resolution was introduced by Trustee Hale:
RESOLUTION 1,10. 47.
Resolution adopting plans and specifications for the im-
provement or Sacramento Street, in the City of Lodi, Courty of San
Zoaquin, State or California, as prepared by the City Bngi.neer or
said City of Lodi.
RESOLVED, that the plans and specifications for the im-
provement or Sacramento street, in said City of Lodi, from the
South line of Lockeford Street to the City Limits on the -North,-
exceptirg however, such portion as is required by law to be kept
In order and repair by any person or company ha.virg railroad tracks
thereon, subrItted by L.E.�BARZBLLOTTI, City Engineer, be, and the
same are hereby adopted.
Upon motion of Trustee male, seconded jrry Trustee Montgom-
ery, the foregoing, resolution was adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Hale, Montgomery, Cross, Morehead and Black.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
Superintendent Henning asked the Board what the City would
do in the ratter of street illumination for a proposed celebration
in honor of the homecoming soldiers June 4th, whereupon Trustee
.Montgomery moved, seconded by Trustee Hale, that the Board stands
ready to cooperate in arty way with the committees having the cele-
bration in charge. The motion was unanimously adopted.
In the matter of the request of E. M. Smith for -permission
to lay a six-foot sidewalk in front or his property on South Sac-
ramento street, Trustee Morehead moved, seconded by Trustee Crose,
that the previous order of the Board, requiring a twelve -foot walk,
should stand. The motion was carried by unanimous vote.
No further business appearing the Board adjourn
