Pursuant to adjournment of May 17th the Board of Trustees
of tin:; City of Lodi convened at S o'clock p.m., President of the
Board :Iontgomery presiding.
Trustees Montgomeryy, Hale, Rich and Hickok anaviered to roll
call, Trustee Crose beim absent on account of illness.
Minutes of the regular meeting of May 17th were read and
approved.
y In the matter of the application of R. M. Atkinson to Rove
and remodel rive small buildings to be located on the reser of lots
6 and 7, block 31, referred to fire Chief stark iday 17th, chief
star's reported that the structures would not constitute an increased
fire :zazard and that there was no objection_ on the part of the firm
department, whereupon Trustee Rich moved, secorajpd by Trustee Hickok,
that the permit be granted, which motion was adopted..
P. J. Beaty reported to the Board that water pressure was
extremely low at his home on East Lodi Avenue. After discussion of
the matter Superintendent Hennin; recommended that an auxiliary
plax,,t of 1600 gallons per minute capacity be installed in the Barn-
hart Tract near the South City Limits. The Superintendent was in-
structed to ascertain what such a plant would cost, the length of
time necessary to procure and install the sane and to look for a
auitable location.
City Engineer Barzellotl presented plans and spaeifica-
tions for tae improveiaent of a portion of ;Vest Elm Street , ;rhere-
uponthe following resolution was introduced by Trustee Hale.
RESOLUTION NO. 109.
RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE Im-
PROV5ENT OP ELS STREET, IN THE CITY OF LODI, COUNTY OF SAN JOA-
QUI2,, STATE Or CALIFORNIA, AS PREPARED BY THE CITY MiGINEER OF
SAID CITY OF LODI.
RESOLVED, that the plans and specifications for the im-
provement of Elm Street, in said City of Lodi," from the East line
of Hutchins Street to its West terminal, said West terminal beinz
toe ;Vest line produced Southerly of Lot Numbered Twenty -Five (25) ,
in the Schroeder Addition to Lodi, as per maa.p of said Addition on
file in the office of the County recorder or the County of San
Joaquin, --excepting however, such portion as is required by law
to be leapt in order or repair by any person or compamy having rail-
road tra;ks thereon, submitted by L. F. Barzellotti, City Engineer,
be, and tae same are hereby, adopted.
Upon motion of Trustee Hale, seconded by Trustee Rich,the
foregoing resolution was adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Hale, Rich, Hickok and. Montgomery.
Noes: alone.
Absent: Trustee Croye.
