The adjourned regular meeting of the.Board of Trustees of
the City of Lodi convened at 8 o'clock P.M. on the date above
written. President J.W.Shattuck presiding. Trustees present were
F.O.Hale, A.D.Hickok, John Mettler Jr.,J. W.Shattuck. Trustee
Rich was still absent on account of illness.
lir Lansing Bailey of the Growers & Shippers League address-
ed the Board on the necessity of supplimenting rail transportation
by increasing facilities for shipment by grater and suggesting that
the Board endorse the project for deep water from Stockton to the
sea.
Resolution No. 268, a resolution finding due publication
of notice in the matter of the application of F.J.Schleef for an
ordiaance granting a spur track was adopted by the following vote:
AYES: male, Hickok, '.settler, Shattuck.
NOES: None.
ABSErIT: Rich.
Resolution 'No. 269, a resolution passing Ordinance No. 130,

adopted by the following vote: -
