be laid at once.
Ex -president of the Board extended congratulations to
the newly elected 7-rusteas and reminded them of his un -dying
opposition to the placing off a fire house in Ea-ple Square.
On motion of Trustee Hale, the Board adjourned until
8 o'clock. -2.M. of April 24th.,1922.

-4,n adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Trustees
of the City of Lodi was called to order at 8.15 P.M. on the
day and date above written and on call of the roll the following
Trustees were present: Trustees, Shattuck, Hale, Hickok, l:Mettler.
Absent: Trustee Rich.
'-his being the 1:,.te set for the opening of bidsfor the
improvement of Sacramento Street 'under Resolution of Intention
No. 46 and Tokay Street under Resolution of Intention No. 45
and it appearing that notice thereof had been duly given, the
Board proceeded to publicly open and declare the bids received.
No proposals were received in the matter of the improve-
ment of Sac-_-anento Street.
The following is a list of bids received for the improve-
ment of Tokay Street and the prices bid: -

ery C,nstruction Company by the nassagge of Resolution of Award

their desire for an established piece of proper fire equipment
