2ESLLtiTION DECLARING RESULT OP ELECTION.
;'i'd R12AS , a general municipal election was held and .
conducted in the City of Lodi, on 111onlay, the 14th day of April
1924, as required by law,
AI7D t'=REAS , it appears that notice of said election
was duly and legally given, that voting precincts were properly
established, that election officers were appointed and election
supplies furnished, and that in all respects said election was
held and conducted and the votes cast t'ereat received and can-
vassed, and the returns thereof, made and declared in time,
form and manner as required by the general laws of the state
governing elections in cities of the fifth and sixth class,
AND 4V_H LS , the board of trustees of said City met
at the council chamber of the board on iionday, the 21st day of
April,1924, to canvass the returns of said election and install
the newly elected officers, as a result of which the board
finds that the nimber of votes cast, the names of the persons
voted for, and other matters required by law, to be as herein
stated", now therefore ,
BE IT BESOLVBD as follows:
That said regilar municipal election was held and
conducted in the City of Lodi on i>'onday, the 14th day of April,
1924, in time, form and manner as required by law;
That there were four voting precincts established
for the purpose of holding said election, consisting of a con-
solidation of the re mlar precincts established for holding
general state and county elections as follows:
"Consolidated Voting Precinct 'A'" comprising state
and county precincts numbers one,, two , three and four,
"Consolidated Voting Precinct 131* comprising state
and cointy precincts five, six and seven,
"Consolidated Voting Precinct 'C'" comprising state
and county precincts numbers nine, ten and eleven,
"Consolidated Voting Preoirot 'D'" comprising state
and county precincts numbers eight and twelve.
That the vahole number of votes cast in said City

That the names of the persons voted for, the offies.
for which the;, were voted, the number of votes given in each
precinct to each of said parsons, together with the whole numb-
er of votes which they received in the entire City, are as

RBSOLVHO therefore, that at said general municipal
election J. 3. ROACH was elected to the office of TRUSTZE
of the City of Lodi for the FULL TZMW of four years;
ALSO, that W. A. SPOOiiM was elected to the office of
TRUST , of the City of Lodi for the +'I]LL TMIT of four yaars;
ALSO, that J. F. BILIK LY was elected to the office of
CL_3 of said City for the term of four years;
ALSO, that W. H. LO?21TZ was elected to the office of
TR3ASURRR of said City for the term of four years.
The Clerk shall enter on the records of the Board a
statement of the result of the election showing (1) The
whole number of votes cast in said City; (2) The names
of the persons voted for, and the propositions voted on; (3)
{ The office which each person .eau voted for; (4) the n tuber
of votes given at each precinct for each of said persons
and for and against each of said propositions; and (5)
The number of votes given in said City to each of said
persons, and for arid against each of such propositions.
voted upon.
The Clerk shall immediately make and deliver to each
of such persons elected a certificate of election, sign-
ed by him and duly authenticated; he shall also immose
to constitutional oath of office and have them subscribe
thereto, whereuron they shall be inducted into the respective
offices to which they have been elected.
The Foregoing resolution was then passed and duly
adopted upon roll call by the following vote: -
AY S: Trustees, lettler, <ic-ok,Hale,Spooner,Shattuck
IMES: Trustees, None.
A3SMT: Trustees, i+one.
The foregoing minutes were then read by the Clerk and
f on motion of Trustee Lettler were approved as read and so
endorsed by the President.
No further business appearing t're Board adjourned,
sine die on notion of Trustee Hale.
