AGENDA TITLE: Specifications and Advertisement for Bids for Lane Line Painting, Various City Streets,

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the specifications for the above project and
authorize advertising for bids.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This project provides painting of lane lines on arterial and collector
streets on an annual basis, and approximately 50 percent of
residential streets. Should the actual bid be less than the amount
budgeted, the difference will be used to paint additional lane lines.
Should the bid prices come in over the project estimate, the Street Division will downsize the scope of the
project to coincide with the project estimate.
