.ast Oak Street Having been filed Trustee Crose moved, seconded by
Trustee Hale, that the City Engineer be instructed to prepare plans
and specifications for the improvement of that street from the east
line of Sacramento street to the west line of Cherokee Lane. The mo-
tion was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board.
ITpon motion of Trustee Hale, seconded by Trustee Crose, it
was ordered that all new sidewalks to be constructed on South Sacra-
nento street, from Oak street to Lodi Avenue, shall be twelve feet
in width.
Trustee Hale moved, seconded by Trustee Grose, that the City
Engineer be instructed to prepare plans and specifications for the
Improvement of Lodi Avenue, from the west line of Cherokee Lane to
tr-e east line of EutciA ns street. The motion was adopted by the follow
ing ,rote:
Ayes: Trustees Hale, Crose, Montgomery, :-orehead and Black.

RESOLUTION GIVIPtG CONSENT TC TRA17SPER Off' LICENSE.
CrITEREAS, J. J. CRAWFORD has presented an application to this
Board asking its consent to the transfer to said applicant by RCEE?T
SA1tET and CSCR . SA ET, of the license to sell and serve vinous and
malt liquor with meals in the HOTEL LOTH, heretofore issued to said
RO?ERT SA1s T and OSCAR SAIIET by the City of Lodi, and
'' _,-?EAS , i t appear s that said J . J . CRAI V ORD has purchased
the hotel business, as set forth in saidd application, and said applica-
tion being in due form and accompanied by a proper bond, duly approved
by the President of this Board, now therefore
PE IT R= SOLIPED, that . the consent of this Board be, and it
is heresy ;-iven to the transfer of said license by said R03ERT SA?: -T
and OSCAP SAA:ET to said J. J. CRAWFORD.
Trustee Crose moved the adon_tion of the above resolution
as read, which *potion was seconded by Trustee Yontgosery, and carried
by the following: vote:
Ayes: Trustees Crose, Montgomery, Hale,luorehead and Black.
Noes: None.
Absent. None.
Upon motion of Trustee 1.ontgomery, seconded by Trustee
Vorehead, Supt. Henning was authorized to glace an order for water
pipe with American Cast Iron Pipe Co., to be shipped from the East,
or if necessary to purchase same from their San Francisco stock.
Bills amounting to $6025.79, having been passed by the
Finance Committee, were allowed and ordered paid.
Upon motion regularly made, seconded and carried, the Board
adjourned to meet again at $ o'clock P.M.,londapy April 14th, 1919.
