The followinv resolution zrras then read by the Clerk: Resolved by the 3oard Of Trustees of the City of Lodi that the bond for the security of Material men and laborers tendered by J.d.Appleton and 7rederickson 3rothers in the Natter of their con- tract fl -r labor and materials and construction of the proposed sever system of said City,be and the same is hereby approved by said. 3oard, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to annex a cony of this resolution,atteated by his official self,to said bond,in identification of said bond and as evidence of the fact of this ap-proval. It was moved by Trustee J.X.31odgett and seconded by Trustee L.VillinZer that the. f.reSoinZ resolution be adopted as read,which motion .was carried by the follocwinF Vote: Ayes: J.:i.3lod3ett,F.3.Hale, G.E.Lawrence, C.A.Rich and L.Villin�_er. :does: None. There upon,in accordance with the resolution of this Board adopted on Y:arez 15th.,1910,the contract with J.:I.Appleton and Freder- ickson Brothers ;was duly exee'ted on behalf of the City by the ?resid- ent of the Board of Trustees and the Cit,r Clerk. The contract xith GladJ_Jng,'Ic3ean & Co., accompanied by a bond in the siizi of <y5000.00 with The United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company as surety,;was presented. The following resolution was then read by the Clerk: Resolved by the 30ard of Trustees of the Cit? of Lodi that the bond presented by Gladdin,,Mc3ean & Company to secure said City for the performance of their contract with said City to furnish sever pipe for the proposed sewer syste:a of said City,the sane being t1le bond provided for in the Act Of 1901 under which the bonds for said sewer system were iss::ed,is hereby a'Dproved and accepted and declared to be in form and substan:e such as the said Hoard of Trustees deems Neat in the premises. And the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed r��HD :3 to annex a copy of this resolution,attested by his official self,to said bond,for the purpose of identifying the sage and in evtdance o: the fact ,of this resolution of approval. it ;vas roved and .seconded that the fOregoiilg resolution be adopted as read,which motion was carried by the folloming vote: j Ayes: J.z1.3lodgett, .0.!iale,G.E.Lawrence.C.A.Rieh and L.villinger. The follo=sing resolution was t -en read by the Clerk: 3a it Resolved: that,at the General Municipal Meetion to be held in the City of Lodi on April 11th.,1910,the following proposit- ion be submitted to to electors of said City,in substantially the folloalnZ form: "Shall each of the Trustees of the City of Lodi(subject i Y -S to the ?provisions of Section 9,Arti,.le X! of the Constitut- YO ion) have a salary of Two hundred and forty dollars per yaar,payable quarterly?" it was moved and seconded t:�at the foregoing' resolution be adopted as read,w:.ich :Notion was carried by the following vote: Ayes: ti.11.31od, ett, .O.uale,G.E.La'vrence,C.A.Rich av-1.
