The claim of Carr Bros.for sup-olies and labor was laid on the
table for further information regarding discounts.
Surveyor J.A.Grai:am suggested that cement monuments should be
placed at the intersections of the centers of streets at least in
the old town -site. said monuments to be about 9" in diameter at the
bottom and 4" in diameter at the top and 24' long with a nail or
copper spike in the top. He said the rion,zments would cost about 41.00
each and the setting of then would be about $4.00. He said their
should be at least 16 set now. The ratter was tafen under advisement.
E.E.Deaver asked that the Alley running North from Daisy Ave.in
the ?,loran -Handel, Tract and Daisy Ave.in said tract be opened to
traffic,as they were already dedicated to the public use and were
merely fenced up by J.G.Handel. The natter was referred to the
Street Committee and the Stre-:�t Sizi3erintendent.
R.Squire called the attention of the Board to the approach to
the Biose -cart House. The natter was referred to the Street Commdttee
and Street Superintendent.
The natter buildinE a cement sidevral:� around the Library lot
was then discussed without definite action.
RESOLUTION.
The following Resolution aas then z:ead and introduced:
BE IT.RF.SOLVED: that the President of the Board of Trustees and the
j City Clerk of the City of Lodi be and they are hereby authorized and
--- directed to gine notice according to law of a General Municipal
Election to be held in and for said Cite on Mondvy,the eleventh day
of April,1910. '"he Dolilng place shall be the building kno+n as the
City Hall on N.Sacrwaento Street between Locust Strut and Lockeford
Street.
The officers of said election shall be as follors:
inspectors: 171.7,1.HendarsOn and B.. .'=toodson.

Ballot Clarks: H.S.Clark Sr. and John Acker.
It was re ularly Moved and seconded that the fore oing
