This regular meedns of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Lodi was called to order at 8.10 o'clock P.I. by the
President, Trustees Hale Mettler, Roach and Spooner present,
Trustee Shattuck absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of February 15th.,
1926 were read, approved as read and so endorsed by the Pres-
ident,
1'r. Neil D. Shank on behalf of the local post of
the American Legion, offered the Legion's services in grading
and levelling the proposed new park in the Lawrence Addition.
The President of the Board, on behalf of the City, accepted the
tender and thanked the members of the legion for their offer.
Reports from the Poundmaster and Marshal for the month
of February were submitted, read and ordered filed.
In the matter of the improvement of portions of Locke -
ford Street, Stockton Street and =+ashington Street:
The City 7ngineer, as directed at the meeting of Feb-
ruary 15th., submitted a district diagram with plans and spec-
ifications for the improvement contemplated.
Resolution No. 69-B, Resolution Adopting and Approv-
ing Diagram Delineating the Extent of Lands to be Assessed to
Pay the Costs and Expenses for the Improvement of portions of
Lockeford Street, Stockton Street and- Jash ington Street, was
introduced by Trustee Mettler and approved and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: Trustees, settler Hale Roach and Spooner
NOES: Trustees, None. ABSENT: Trustee, Shattuck.
Resolution No. 69-A, Resolution Adopting and Aoprov-
APlans and Specifications as Prepared and Submitted by the
Y
Engineer for the work contemplated in Resolution of intent -
on No. 69, to be later adopted, was passed by the following
vote: -
AYES: Trustees, Hale, Mettler, Roach and Spooner
Noes: Trustees, None. Absent; Trustee, Shattuck.
RESOLUTION GF.INTENTION NO. 69 was introduced on
motion of Trustee Hale, seconded by Trustee Roach and passed and
adopted by the following vote --
AYES : Trustees, Hale, Roach, Mettler and Spooner.
NOES: Trustees None. ABSENT: Trustee, Shattuck.
