WHEREAS, a rap of a subdivision of land entitled STURIA SCROOL ADDITION .,as been presented to this Board; and W.—ZRFAS, the property lines and the street lines of said subdivision conform kith the lines of adjoining streets and prop- erties; and W=FLEAS, the aYproval of said map and the acceptance of the streets and alleys delineated therein has been recommended by the City Endiz.eer; RESOLVED, that the a'aove ra: ad map and subdivision_ be and' 13 hereby approved a. -.d the offer of the owners of the land designated in tris r:ap to dedicate to the City cf Lodi for public use the streets and alleys shown: in the same be and is hereby accepted; and that the President of this Board be and is hereby authorized to e..dorse on this map such approval and acceptance. WHEREAS, a petition has beer_ filed vrith this board.p'o- posin., ':,y initiative proceediras an ordinance providing that each employee of the City of Lodi shall receive for his services y4.00 per day; such compensation to be paid out of the general fund of the City of Lodi; and WKEREA_S, it appears fror. the statement of the Clark that he certified to names on said petition_ of persons who had not reg istared since the lzt day of January, 1920, and said names are necessary to make up the requisite number of qualified electors on acidpetltlon; and iRF.AS, it appears further from an examination of said petitio.l that the date each signer affixed his name to said peti- tion is onitted; therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Board does hereby find that said peti- tion is insufficient; and the Clerk is hereby instructed to no- tify ti:e proposers of said ordinance of the Board's action to the end t, wt they may remedy the defects therein if so advised.
